Crouched in closet
Behind coats - hidden
Heart pounding in ears
‘Hush breathing – quiet, focus.’
Folded small
Breathing softly, silently
Heart calms
Gentle pulse in ears
Can they hear it too?
Quiet
Wait
Wait
Wait in safety
Perfectly still, eyes closed,
Nestled behind coats
Silent,
Hidden,
Safe.

Howdy! I currently have two friends with DID and a personal friend who counsels almost exclusively with DID. How my husband and I entered this wonderful world is amazing. We are healed every day through these friendships. God Bless You! I hope JC is inside healing the little ones and offering support.
